Die kostenlose Firewall gibt's in einer neuen Betaversion (3.0.0 Beta2). Wer eine Beta installieren möchte, bittesehr. Ich hab noch 2.14 drauf, werde aber bei Gelegenheit auf die Final 3 umsteigen (erst mal zu Testzwecken, mit frischem Image im Hintergrund 
)

firewall can be configured by simply permitting or denying communication to applications - suitable for beginners and less experienced users who do not want to use the advanced packet filter
Intrusion Detection System - built on the IDS engine used in WinRoute 5.0
System Security - applications on the desktop protected against being rewritten, modified or misused by other applications, etc.
new status reports in the Advanced Admin - traffic chart, MS Networking status, etc.
many enhancements in performance and load on the memory, especially in the kernel part of the engine
completely re-vamped graphical user interface, simpler for less experienced users; advanced settings for experienced users available through the Advanced Admin
Installation, testing, reporting
If KPF 2.x is installed, backup its config file first - persfw.conf - and then uninstall KPF 2.x
Install KPF 3 Beta and after restart you can use it. KPF 3 is divided into two sections - Simple Administration only allows setting certain parameters; the Advanced Administration Console uses the same configuration engine found in our other products and allows setting all KPF parameters
