Amerika != Recycling-erfahren. Die New Yorker Landauffüllungs-Müllkippe schluckt alles und es ist ja nicht so, als ob amerikanische "Recycling" Firmen ihren Müll nicht auch exportieren würden, die USA haben AFAIK im Gegensatz zu uns nicht einmal eine Müll-Export-Regelung ...Elsewhere in the world, an Apple product today can still be tomorrow's e-waste.

mit Teichfolie kenn ich mich nicht aus und mein Cabrio hat eine Heckscheibe aus Glas ... dafür aber ein Verdeck aus PVC, das ist nach 10 Jahren noch wie neu und wird wohl auch noch einige Zeit lang halten, anders als umweltfreundliche (?) Stoffdächer ...Die Verwendung von PVC bei einem extrem langlebigen Produkt kann durchaus umweltfreundlich sein, da man z.B. eine Heckscheibe vom Cabrio nicht jedes Jahr wechselt, genausowenig wie eine Teichfolie.
