Einfach zu bedienender Open-Source Passwort-Manager.

KeePass ist ein kleiner, leistungsfähiger und einfach zu bedienender Open-Source Passwort-Manager für Windows. Die Passwörter werden in einer durch ein Hauptkennwort oder Schlüsseldiskette geschützten Datenbank verschlüsselt gespeichert.
Das Programm unterstützt Passwort-Gruppen, d.h. Passwörter können in Gruppen einsortiert und so komfortabel verwaltet werden.

KeePass unterstützt Auto-Type, d.h. das Programm kann Informationen in andere Fenster automatisch eintragen, z.B. in Dialoge, WebForms, etc. Drag-n-drop wird ebenfalls unterstützt. Per Doppelklick können schnell Daten kopiert werden.

Daten können von und in mehrere Formate importiert und exportiert werden (z.B. Import von CSV und CodeWalletPro TXT, Export z.B. nach HTML, CSV und XML).

Das Programm ist relativ klein und muss nicht installiert werden, einfach das Zip-Archiv auspacken und KeePass ist lauffähig. Es ist allerdings auch ein Installer verfügbar, für die die gerne Links im Startmenü haben wollen.

KeePass ist Open-Source. Der komplette Quellcode kann heruntergeladen werden. KeePass ist mehrsprachig (über 20 Sprachen sind verfügbar).

Ich habe nur ein PW und kann es mir deswegen leicht merken.
Den LogIn lasse ich mir immer zuschicken (den vergesse ich leider), pfiffig, oder ?

Aber trotz alledem gibt es wieder eine neue Version 1.04, die vielleicht auch die *heimlichKeepass-Benutzer* interessieren dürfte. :p

Eines der Tools, die ich sehr häufig benutze(n) muss. :) Bei restriktiven Passwortkonventitionen ohnehin unverzichtbar.

Ich nutze das Programm nun auch schon eine lange Zeit und bin sehr zufrieden damit. In der letzten PC-Magazin stand daß KeePass das einzige kostenlose Programm ist daß es mit kommerziellen Produkten aufnehmen kann.
Die Demoversionen die ich ausprobiert habe bevor ich auf Keepass gestossen bin konnten mich alle nicht so recht überzeugen: KeePass schon.
