Vista Programme speziell für Vista

Hallo

Mit diesem Beitrag möchte ich ein Thema eröffnen, in dem
Programme speziell und exklusiv für Vista genannt werden.
Auch dabei sind Weiterentwicklungen von Programmen für
den Rest der Windowsfamilie, die aber nur unter Vista laufen.

Anfangen möchte ich mit diesen:

Das Programm gibt es in einer Freewareversion mit 14 integrierten
Plugins und in kostenpflichtigen Versionen mit weiteren Plugins.
Die Preise differieren sehr stark und sind HIER gelistet.
Eine Einschränkung hat die Freeware noch: nur 32 Bit Vista!

Einen Vergleich der Versionen mit dem Funktionsüberblick
findet man auf der Homepage.

Es sind je nach Version alle möglichen Tweaks möglich,
so wie man es von XP kennt. In der Freeware unter anderem:

Tweak Vista makes it easy to tweak and customize Windows Vista Beta December CTP

TweakVista allows easy access to the new features built into Windows
Vista, formerly known as Windows Codename Longhorn.

Please extract the files to a fresh directory that does not contain a
previous build of TweakVista (or it will complain about .NET versions).

On the DWM tab, you can unleash the powers of the Display Window
Manager, Windows Vista's fresh new user interface.

The Envionment tab allows you to view and customize environment variables.

The Search tab customizes the search engines available to IE7 and lets you
add your own.

The UAP tab can be used to modify some of the prompts Vista displays when
various actions attempt to execute on the system. For instance, you can
enable a prompt for authorized credentials when performing a protected action.

This build of TweakVista has been tested against the Windows Vista
December CTP (build 5270). Future CTP's may change in functionality and
require a new TweakVista build.

Mit dieser Freeware kann man sich sein eigenes Bild in Vista einbauen
und beim Startvorgang anzeigen lassen.

Speichern Sie ein beliebiges Bild als BMP-Datei mit 24-Bit in
den Größen 800 x 600 und 1.024 x 768 und laden Sie die Fotos in das
Programm. Mit einem Klick auf »Save Boot Screen File As« generiert die
Freeware den Bootscreen, den Sie in den Ordner »%windir%\System32\de-DE«
kopieren müssen.

Damit Windows Vista den Bootscreen später auch anzeigt, muss noch eine
Veränderung in der Systemkonfiguration vorgenommen werden. Starten
Sie »msconfig« und setzen Sie im Menü »Start« ein Häkchen bei »Kein GUI-Start«.

● Standard utilities for managing Windows data in different stores and formats, including Active Directory (ADSI), Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), Component Object Model (COM) objects, Active X Data Objects (ADO), HTML and XML.

● Sophisticated expression parsing and .NET object manipulation at the command line, including pipelining of objects, make IT professionals more efficient and productive.

● Extensible interface that allows independent software vendors and enterprise developers to build custom cmdlets to meet their unique application and system administration requirements.

Das Tool läuft leider nicht auf allen Vistas, sondern nur auf
Business, Enterprise oder Ultimate.

ActiveSync Version 1.0

Microsoft hat das Windows Mobile Device Center 6 für Windows Vista fertig gestellt. Das Programmpaket, welches den Datenaustausch mit Windows-Mobile-Geräten (Pocket PC und Smartphone) unter Vista regelt, kann entweder per direktem Download oder über die Aktualisierungsfunktion installiert werden. Das Synchronisations-Programm ist zu PDAs und Smartphones ab Windows Mobile 2003 kompatibel. Unter Windows XP ist das Programmpaket nicht lauffähig.

Im Vergleich zu ActiveSync hat das Microsoft noch einmal an der Stabilität gefeilt und und die Bedienoberfläche generalüberholt. Außerdem wurde ein Foto-Management implementiert und der Abgleich von Media-Dateien vereinfacht. Mittels eines Datei-Managers soll der Nutzer nun einfacher Files vom PC auf den PDA bringen und auf Wunsch auch gleich konvertieren können.

Ursprünglich sollte die Abgleich-Suite schon in den ersten Vista-Versionen enthalten sein, aber das Programmpaket konnte nicht rechtzeitig zum Produktionsstart fertig gestellt werden. Künftige Vista-Versionen sollen den Abgleich-Manager bereits enthalten.
