Hallo Leute!

also erstmal - ich bin fast am verzweifeln!!!
ich kenn mich mit Linux fast net aus und soll fürn kumpel n server aufstellen.

Steam und Teamspeak läuft schon mal
aber FTP will und will net ...

So nun aber zu den Daten:

Suse Linux dedicated server (@strato.com)
FTP server: glftpd
tutorial: LINK
soweit so gut, klappt alles bis man zum Punkt
inetd.conf kommt.
Im verzeichnis /etc gibt es keine solche datei!!!
aber beim googlen fand ich herraus das es auch die datei
xinetd.conf sein kann.

Ich kopiere nun mal den drin stehenden Eintrag rein:

so nun steht aber das dort folgender eintrag stehen sollte:
glftpd stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /glftpd/bin/glftpd -l -o -i -n 1 -r /etc/glftpd.conf
steht da aber nirgends!!!

Wie man sieht bin ich am Ende mit meinem Latein...
habe es schon mit 4 anderen FTP servern versucht, hat aber nie geklappt ...

Wäre für einen Lösungsvorschlag sehr dankbar
