Ich würde gerne Suse 10.2 installieren, aber...

Hi Leute,
ich würde gerne Linux (SUSE 10.2) auf meiner zweiten Festplatte installieren aber sie wird bei der installation nicht erkannt. Kann mir da jemand helfen?

Zur Hardware:

MB MSI P965 Neo
CPU Intel core 2 duo
Grafik ATI Radeon x1900
FP 1) SATA mit WIN
2) PATA leer
RAM 2*512MB Kingston

und ich glaube es liegt daran, dass die zweit FP an dem IDE Anschluss hängt, aber sicher bin ich mir nicht.
Für Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar

Die zweite wird von Windows erkannt.
Beim Systemstart (noch bevor von CD gebootet wird) wird die zweite HD auch erkannt.

Novell sagt::

Serial ATA in Compatibility Mode

....... However, native support will only be available from kernel 2.4.22 or 2.6.x.

The PATA module can only operate the SATA disk if the SATA controller in the BIOS has been set to the compatibility mode. This procedure varies according to BIOS. Thus, please refer to your motherboard manual to find out how to set this mode. Once this BIOS setting has been configured, the PATA kernel module detects the hard disk and you can proceed with the installation.

This procedure works for Intel (ICH5) and Sillicon Image (Sil) SATA chipsets.

Ich weiß nur leider nicht, wie man soetwas im BIOS umstellt
In der ANleitung steht nichts, und in der auf der MSI Seite habe ich nichts gefunden. Im BIOS habe ich nach SATA controller gesucht, aber auch nichts gefunden.
