[Gelöst] DSL-Leitung für mehrere PC's .. ?

Hallo!

Folgende Situation:

Ich habe 2 PCs zu hause:
900 MHz Duron, 256 MB RAM und
233 MHz Pentium, 32 MB RAM
( beide PCs laufen mit Win 98 SE .. der schnellere hat zusätzlich noch Win 2ooo drauf )

Beide PCs haben die gleiche Netzwerkkarte. Ein DSL-Anschluss ist vorhanden. Einen Hub leg ich mir demnächst zu! Was muss ich tun, um mit beiden PC's über die DSL-Leitung zu surfen? Ein Netzwerkkabel von jedem PC zum Hub und vom Hub ein Netzwerkkabel zum DSL-Modem? ...
Welche Software benötige ich da und wie mach ich das?!

es gibt auch eine Software loesung

du holst dir fuer einen pc eine 2te netzwerkkarte, und von www.AVM.de die software KEN!DSL
brauchst dann keinen router.

Hallo

Bei der AVM Lösung muß der PC mit AVM-KEN Server immer eingeschaltet sein, um dem anderen PC mit AVM-Ken Client den Zugang zu ermöglichen. Bei einer Hardware-Lösung aber nicht.
Ein Hardware-Router wie von Elsa oder SMC ist deshalb die bessere Lösung. Bei SMC ist ein 4-Port Switch sogar integriert
 
ok! danke für eure tipps! aufgrund von geldmangel kann ich mir keinen hardware router kaufen .. muss alles alles mit software überbrücken ;)

sobald der hub da ist (mitte nächster woche) werd ich es mal laut anweiseung dieser seite versuchen ..

falls es nicht klappt meld ich mich nochmal ..
 
Soviel ich weiß, kommste aber mit einem Hub immer nur mit einem Rechner online, seidenn Du umgehst es mit einer Softwarelösung.

als alternative...

einen alten 486er mit nem diskettenlaufwerk solltest du irgendwo für umme auftreiben können ...

dann gäb es die möglichkeit über einen linux router zu gehen, oder die bequeme lösung per www.fli4l.de zu nehmen.

das klappt astrein.. hab ich bei mir unter anderem auch laufen.
falls du fragen hast.. kannst gerne fragen

ich hör immer Hub und Router und Software und was weiß ich ..

Also bei mir ist das so das ich in meinem Hauptrechner 2 Netzwerkkarten drin hab in dem anderen eine.
Die eine Netwerkkarte ist mit dem DSL verbunden und die andere mit dem 2ten PC.
Eine kleine Lanverbindung und noch die Internetfreigabe und fertisch...
Ich denke das dass die günstigste aller Alternativen ist...

Oder hab ich das Thema verfehlt ??? :)

wenn dir ics reicht.. dann ist das sicher die beste lösung.

aber sobald man an sowas wie portforwarding denken muss (icq file transfer oder battlecom) dann zeigt dir ics leider schnell die rote karte.

und wenn man dann nicht geld für nen hardware router ausgeben will, kommt man kaum um einen software router rum..

Ich habe auch ein "arme leute Router" - laut Thargor.

Das läuft prima, zweite Netzwerkkarte in den Main Rechner, Crossover LAN Kabel.
Dann mußt du das System für LAN Betrieb vorbereiten, der Umfang und die Arbeiten hängen von deinem Betriebssystem ab.

Ich werde hier noch eine Anleitung für WIN 98 und 2000 posten.
Weiter unten.

Ausserdem brauchst du einen "Proxy", der den Internet Anschluss durchschleusst.
Den findest du bei http://www.analogx.com unter proxy.
Hierunter laufen http, https, socks4/4a/5, nntp, pop3, smtp und ftp.
Readme sorgfälltig lesen.

Manche Progamme verlangen nach scripts zb. Socks 5 zb."Morpheus" http://www.musiccity.com .
http://www.socks.nec.com/sockscap.html stellt ein progie "Sockscap" bereit.

Proxy und sockscap werden auf den Main Rechner installiert und am besten in den Autostart gesetz.
Den Client muß man dann auf die IP der zweiten Netzwerk-karte setzen.

Das ganze ist nicht ohne, voher Ausgangskonfig sichern Driveimage oder so
kann schon mal nen Tag dauern bis das läuft.
Aber kostet keine 25 Euro.

Peer to Peer Win2k Setup

Windows 2000 Pro Peer to Peer Network Setup
Click on Start /Settings /Control panel /Users and Passwords
ENABLE the GUEST Account
Click on OK
Click on Network & Dialup Connections
Click Make New Connection OR Local Area COnnection (if present)
Select Properties
You MUST have these three as a Minimum.
Client for Microsoft Networks Installed and Enabled (Check mark in box)
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks Installed and Enabled (Check mark in box)
Internet Protocol (TPC/IP) Installed and Enabled (Check mark in box)
Highlight TCP/IP
Click the Properties button.
Give your machine a IP Address (192.168.1.1, Mask 255.255.255.0) works fine.
Unless you are using a 'SMART' Router that has a IP number assigned leave the Default Gateway BLANK
Click on the Advanced tab
IP Settings should show your IP address, subnet mask and gateway
On the DNS tab, the ONLY box checked on this page should be:
Append primary and connection specific NDS suffiexes
On the WINS tab the ONLY Box checked on this page should be
Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP
On the Options tab IP security
Click Properties
Make sure that Do not use IPSEC is checked
TCP/IP Filtering DO NOT enable
Check Permit Al for all three options.
Click Ok
Click Ok
Windows 2000 will want to Reboot. Dont do it yet
Right Click on My Computer
Left Click on Properties
Select Network Identification
BOTH Full Computer Name:, and Workgroup: should have entries.
Full Computer Name 'Mine', 'Billy', 'Sharon', 'Dads', 'Moms' ect.. is fine..
NOTE: Windows 3.1/95/98 have problems with names containing ANYTHING other than Letters & Numbers
NO TWO Computers on the network can have the SAME NAME!
Workgroup: 'Workgroup' is the default
It MUST BE THE SAME on ALL the Windows 3x/9x/NT Machines.
To change either the Computer Name or Workgroup click on the Properties box
To change Computer Name: enter the NEW name in the Box Provided.
To change Workgroup:
Click on the Workgroup: check box.
Enter the Workgroup Name.
Click Ok
Click Ok.
Windows 2000 will want to reboot, Let it!
 
Peer to Peer Win 98

Windows 98 Peer to Peer Network Setup
Right click on 'Network Neighborhood'
Click on the 'Identification' tab
Make sure that the 'Computer Name' is Eunique, (See W2K instructions above)
Make sure that the 'Workgroup' has the SAME Name and Case as the W2K workgroup.
Click on the 'Configuration' tab.
You MUST have at least THREE items here:
'Client for Microsoft Networks'
a NIC (Network card)
TCP/IP for the network card.
Click on 'Properties' for the 'TCP/IP' Network card.
Click on the 'IP Address' tab.
Click on the 'Specify an IP Address' Enter a IP Address '192.168.1.2' and mask '255.255.255.0'.
Click on the 'WINS Configuration' tab.
Click on 'Disable WINS Resolution'
Click on the 'Gateway' tab. (See W2K instructions above)
Click on the 'DNS Configuration' tab
Click on 'Disable DNS'
Click on the 'Bindings' tab
'Client for Microsoft Networks' must be enabled.
'File and Printer sharing for Microsoft Networks' may be enabled if you have enabled (Installed the 'File and Printer Sharing' service)
Click Ok (to Close TCP/IP Setting)
Click OK (Close Configuration Tab)
Windows will now install the drivers, You will need your WIN98 CD
Windows will want to reboot, Let it!

Shared Device Win 98

To share Drives, Floders or Printers on Windows 95/98.
To share a Drive
Double click on My Computer
Right Click on the Drive you want others to be able to use.
Click on the Sharing tab.
Click the Shared As button
Enter a Share Name,
Try to keep it under 16 charactors or some folders\files will not be available for Windows95/98
(they both have a 64 charactor limit on File paths)
On the 'Access Type'
You have Three Choices.
'Read Only' users can Read data Only they CAN NOT Write, Edit or sAFE fILES
'Full' users can do anything, Add files/directories, delete files, directorys
'Depends on Password' Users who KNOW the Correct Password can access the Drive according to the entered password
Click on Ok
Click on Ok, Dont worry it will take some time...
To share a Folder (Directory)
NOTE: You CANNOT share a Folder that is on a drive that is already Shared
Locate the Folder you want to Share
Open My Computer
Open the Drive that Contains the Folder
Right Click on the Folder
Click on the 'Sharing' Tab
Click on the 'Shared As' button
Follow the prompts above for the Folder
To share a Printer
Click on Start /Settings /Printers
Right Click on the Printer you Wish to Share
Click on the 'Sharing' button
Click on 'Shared As' button
NOTE: I suggest you accept the Default Name
Or if you have Two printers you wish to share on the Network you can give each printer a Descriptive Name like 'Arts Color Printer', 'Candys LaserJet' ect.
Click on the 'Apply' button

Click on the Share this folder button
Click on the New Share button

Add the Group NETWORK

DSL der Telekom arbeitet mit dem "NETBUI" Protokol
und schreibt sich mal schnell in die zweite Netzwerkkarte rein.

Lösung: NETBUI der zweiten Karte auf dem MAIN deinstallieren,
oder NETBUI auf dem Client instalieren; sonst nix verstehn, dem scheissndreck, weisstu wie isch mein alder.

klingt ja alles ganz gut und am liebsten hätte ich das auch mit 2 Netzwerkkarten in einem Rechner und 1 Netzwerkkarte im anderen Rechner gelöst!

Da ich aber so oder so hier ab und zu kleine Lan-Partys organisiere und der Hub nun mal da ist, will ich mir keine neue (3.) Netzwerkkarte kaufen.

Also... der Hub kommt im Laufe der nächsten 3 Tage. Entsprechende Netzwerkkabel hab ich da. Wünscht mir Glück ;)
