Bescheidenheit ist nicht seine Zier, er will am besten gleich mal den "Weltmeister" = 'Maitre du Monde' spielen, typiquement français, tät ich mal etwas chauvinistisch sagen. Schon Nostradamus, der ja auch in Aix en Provence als Arzt und Pharmazeut tätig war (>1545), hatte sich ja unbescheidenerweise selbst als "ornement de son temps"= "Zierde seiner Zeit" in seinen Centurien bezeichnet.
