Auf dem [SNC]UT2004-vCTF-Server gebannt?

38 Headshots? A guy from the Egon-Clan? No way. :D Just checked the stats: His/her/its weapon choice is not what I am used to when playing with them, they tend to stick to Flak and RL.

I can think of two possibilities:

Nemesis has found an aimbot and is using it. Rather improbable - I dont think hed be that dumb.

Someone else is impersonating him to get others to spit on his clan. Thats what I think, yet AFAIK its quite simple to switch between different CD-Keys in the registry. That probably should be considered along with the first idea... ;)

Oh, and BTW: its not the first time I read IMK/EGN getting accused of cheating. Fluke?
 
As Brummel mentions, there are two Nemesis' listed in the VCTF stats. They have sometimes been playing the same day, but at different times. The guy with the apostroph (not displayed ingame!) in front of his name is a Shock/LG/Sniper whore, while the other one uses Flak & RL most of the time. The apostroph guy is relatively new to our server. Guess who is our aimbotter. ;)

Looks we have some kind of impersonator.

Slightly derivative nick - Maybe someone doesn't like this clan or player?
What ever, Sokoban can block the CD-key, so the faker / cheater will not be able to use it on our server again.

Maybe our leader should inform the EGN-Clan?

thank you guys, we have also come to conclusion he might be a fake *E*G*N, but we honestly dont know. hopefully soko can get the cd-key/IP banned from the server.

Ps....i sent some maps to soko a while ago, i would like to know if he will put them on the server.

btw - soko has tha advantage to inform epic about and that will have
permanent (live-long) ban from UT2004 (masterserver) :D

Ist das erste Log von deinem Server?
Scheint so, als wäre er durch zwei Clans durch lol und seit Februar/März als Faker.
Sich allerdings "LudaCris" zu nennen ist schon reichlich dämlich.
Zugriff auf's UTAN-Forum ist schon was feines ;)
 
Got an answer from EGN. Short version for the english speaking ppl: Our cheater seem to be the ex-EGN member MasterC, who was kicked out of the clan because of not coming to training and ffa cheating. Now he's trying to discredit some of the "real" EGN players by faking their names and cheating.

Also ich musste heute *leider* schon mehreren leuten diese geschichte erzählen die das vielleicht ein wenig aufklären wird !
Wie du vielleicht weißt war MasTerC einer unserer Member bis er von uns rausgeschmissen wurde weil er:
1. Von mit Membern gesehen wurde beim cheaten auf einem deathmatch server
2. Weil er nie zum training gekommen ist und sich nicht entscheiden konnte ob er nun SHG oder EGN sein will !
Nachdem NeMesi$ (der echte) ihn also rausschmiss fing er an alle zu beleidigen und machte auch so einen ziemlich sauren
eindruck !
Einige tage später kam plötzlich ein Spieler auf unseren server der erst den namen unserer Memberin Miststück einahm und
desweiteren die von Sniper, Tiger und letztendlich Nemesis !
Durch eine überprüfung seiner IP ergab sich das es sich bei diesem unter unseren namen cheatenden spieler um unseren alten
ex member MasTerC handelt !
Dies konnte ich auch anhand der UT stats sehen das die verhaltensmuster sich völlig unterscheideten !
Wir bannten ihn also letzendlich, worauf er auf den verschiedensten Servern anfing sein unwesen zu treiben unter dem namen
von «E*G*N»NeMesi$ !
Der echte nemesis, der glaube ich heute auch schon bei euch wieder war, kann ja immernoch ohne probleme auf euren server
kommen, der cheater hingegen nicht !
Außerdem wäre es doch ziemlich dumm nach so langer zeit in der wir alle schon spielen mit dem gleichen namen irgendwo zu
cheaten !
Das ist einfach nur um uns oder nemesis irgendetwas anzuhängen !
Ich bitte um euer verständnis und hoffe das die geschichte einiges aufklären konnte !

Server demo probably doesn't exist (would require too much hd space to record each and every match). Server log...dunno. Ask SoKoBaN, his decision, if he sends you any log files. (Those could give away too much information, so I guess no.)

If you suspect ISHGIMasTer°C° to be a cheater: He is identically to the so-called Nemesis. So he won't come back either. ;)

... aber gut, das das bei 2004 sinnvoll behoben werden kann. Fast schade, das ich noch keinen Cheater auf unseren Servern gesehen habe, von den Dubs und den Lods mal abgesehen... :ROFLMAO: ;)
 
Merkwürdiges Verhalten, das der Kerl da an den Tag legt. Wird wohl jener sein, wegen dem die Spieler vom Fox-Clan Unstimmigkeiten mit EGN hatten - aus demselben Grund. Ma sehn, ob er sich nen anderen Key zulegt und weitermacht - zuzutrauen isses ihm. Allerdings is der IP-Range doch recht eindeutig...

Fast schade, das ich noch keinen Cheater auf unseren Servern gesehen habe, von den Dubs und den Lods mal abgesehen...

I want to get him globally banned. The serverlog is required for that, because I need to link MasterC to his GUID.
 
he doesnt deserve to play this game, hes a cheat.

i have added him to muy buddies list under the name nemesis, if i see him i will know it is him beacuase the real nemsis is allowed in the egn server.
i will follow the fake and see if the admin on the server can ban him, that way he will have a hard time finding a good game to play.

I have add the Player in my UTAN Server only Banlist and make a Submission in order to reach a global Ban.
I could add as Evidence only the PlayerJoinDump and hope am enough together with the Demos, which I added in my UTAN Server only Ban.
The UTAN Ban ID is: 11759
