Klein und umsonst: Quick'n Easy FTP-Server 2.01
Das glaubt man nicht, aber es ist so: Da gibt es einen FTP-Server, der ist a.) umsonst, b.) nur 520 kb groß, c.) sieht schick aus und ist d.) zudem noch kinderleicht einzurichten!
Nee, sagt ihr jetzt, oder? Und ich sage: Doch, das gibt es.
Die Jungs vom EFB-Board haben einen ausführlichen Thread erstellt, der mich neugierig gemacht hat.
Zuerst einmal die Homepage von Pablo van der Meer und seinem Server. Übrigens unglaublich, was der Mann noch so alles programmiert hat, dazu aber an anderer Stelle mehr....
Die kurze Beschreibung der Features sieht so aus:
Quick 'n Easy FTP Server ist ein multi-thread-fähiger FTP-server für Windows 98/NT/XP, der auch von unerfahrenen Usern leicht eingerichtet werden kann.
Das Bedienfenster ist einfach und intuitiv aufgebaut und bietet verschiedene Abschnitte für Userverwaltung, Konfiguration und Sicherheit.
Neue User können leicht per Wizzard angelegt werden, dieser führt Sie Schritt für Schritt duch den Prozess.
Der Server beherrscht alle Basis-FTP-Kommandos und bietet Unterstützung für virtuelle Verzeichnisse und IP-Adressen-Blocking. Er ist über ein System Tray-Icon schnell zugänglich.
Die Installation ist denkbar einfach: Einfach die exe-Datei in ein Verzeichnis Ihrer Wahl entpacken, einen Link im Startmenü erzeugen und chon ist der FTP-Server bereit.

Server Log
In this screen can keep an eye on all the things that are going on, on the server.
It shows you detailed information about all communication between the server and connected FTP clients.
The number between the brackets [ ] is the thread id, which helps you to track all communication messages
for a specific connection. Everything you see in this window can also be logged to a file.
Online Users
Displays a list of users that are currently online. Including there IP address and login time.
Configuration
Here you can configure all settings of the FTP Server.
Statistics
Shows a few interesting statistics of the server like the number of uploads/downloads.
Security
The security page makes it possible to block/allow certain IP addresses to connect to your FTP server.
User Accounts
Add, Edit and Delete User Accounts. Specify passwords, directory permissions and assign virtual directories.
To help you make it easier to configure a new account you can also use the User Account Wizard.
Incoming Messages
The Incoming Messages window displays all the messages that have been sent to you by users.

To easily add a new account to the server click the User Account Wizard, and then follow the instructions.

- Added: Option to configure maximum download/upload speed per user.
- Improved crash detection (exceptions will now write a stack dump in the logfile).
- Fixed: Bug in directory listing (files more than 350 days old had an extra space)
