Die Washington State University präsentiert mit Paint.NET 2.0 eine neue Version der bekannten kostenlosen Bildbearbeitung.

Die Software entstand als Projektarbeit und wird mittlerweile mit Unterstützung von Microsoft weiterentwickelt. Paint.NET bietet neben verschiedenen Effekten auch die Möglichkeit, Bilder in mehreren Ebenen zu bearbeiten und soll als Alternative zu MS Paint weiter ausgebaut werden.



Paint.NET läuft unter Windows 2000 und XP und benötigt zum Betrieb ein installiertes Microsoft .NET Framework. mit 23,7 MB

merci, click und lädt , werde ich mal ausprobieren, suche immer Programme die nicht so total aufgeblasen sind mit Funktionen die man eigentlich gar nicht braucht.
Evtl. wird das Programm ja auch wirklich besser wenn die Jungs und Mädels von der WSU daran arbeiten, und nicht M$

* History actions no longer use lots of extra memory while saving to disk
* Selection outline rendering is nicer to CPU usage (it will avoid using 100%)

Release der Version 2.5 Beta 3 ab dem 10.10.2005

Mit dem Release der Version 2.5 wollen die Entwickler die Software um einige nützliche Features erweitern, die von den Benutzern stark nachgefragt wurden. Dazu gehört unter anderem die Implementation anderer Sprachen, zu denen auch deutsch gehört. Ein genaues Changelog liegt bisher nicht vor, die Release Notes lassen sich jedoch auf der Website des Projekts einsehen. Die deutsche Sprache ist bereits in dieser Beta integriert.

Nach zahlreichen instabilen Alpha- und Beta-Versionen sowie zwei Release Candidates hat das Programm endlich den Final-Status erreicht. Es ist daher davon auszugehen, dass die meisten Fehler behoben und ein Einsatz ohne weitere Abstürze verlaufen könnte.

Ich frage, weil ich gerne wissen möchte ob der DL sich für mich (immer noch ISDN ) denn auch lohnt ?

besser als MSPaint ist es allemal, und an den kurzen Releaseintervallen sieht man auch daß das Programm ständig gepflegt und erweitert wird. Für mich ist es mehr als eine Alternative. Solange du nicht DOTNET auch noch downloaden mußt gehts doch noch mit dem Dl.

Diese Alpha-Version stellt zum 18. Januar ihren Dienst ein. Bis dahin wird eine neue Version erschienen sein.
