[Neuigkeit] Opera 7.20 Beta 13 Win / Beta 12 Linux erschienen

Im Vollbildmodus (F11) kannst Du aber auch in Opera nach unten scrollen, obwohl immer noch keine Bildlaufleisten erscheinen.
 
Nur mal so am Rande. Ich wollte auf die Seite von Nissan und wenn man Opera als IE durch's Netz schickt, ist das auch klein Problem. Bekennt man sich aber zu Opera, wird einem mitgeteilt, dass die Seite am besten mit IE oder NS angeschaut wird.

Der Gipfel der Arroganz ist aber der Text, der oben im Tab angezeigt wird....

BTW: Ford hat extra Opera-Seiten, wenn ich das richtig gesehen habe...

Dabei wäre der ganze Kram nicht nötig, wenn die nur auf VBS verzichten würden, sich halbwegs an die Standards halten würden (kleine Fehler verzeiht Opera auch), die total überflüssigen Browserweichen endlich einmal abschaffen würden und sich auf das Wesentliche konzentrieren würden!

Zum Thema Ford: Eigentlich ist die Browserweiche vollkommen überflüsseig. Opera braucht keine anderen Seiten als jeder andere Browser auch, zumindestens nicht, wenn der Web"designer/master" sein Handwerk versteht.

Hab's grad Dank der Hilfe eines Proxies (zum Headerfälschen und ID verbergen) geschafft, mir die Ford "IE-only" Seite mit Op720b9 anzusehen. Kein Unterschied zur Darstellung des IE. Also wieder einmal ein Fall von völlig überflüssigem Aufwand - aber sie haben wenigstens keine Diskriminisierungsseite gebastelt (wie so viele andere :(), das ist schon einmal ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Meinentwegen sollen die z.B. Opera<7 auf die "static" Seite weiterleiten, der Rest funktioniert unter allen modernen Browsern >=6 bzw 1.x bei Moz/Gecko problemlos, oder versuchen die mit der IE Seite das kaputte Box und Float Modell des IE auszugleichen? (Honi soit qui male y pense!)

PS: Wozu Opera wirklich fähig ist, wenn ein Webdesigner etwas taugt, kann man prima auf der Seite von The Literary Moose sehen...

M2 und Opera als "stand-alone" Anwendungen

Beim stöbern auf den Webseiten der Opera Angestellten "stolperte" ich zufällig über diesen Link (engl.) mit der Anleitung, wie man Opera und M2 jeweils als "stand alone" Anwendungen fahren kann. M2 bekommt dann sogar sein eigenes Icon... ;) :D

Falls irgendwer zu viel Zeit hat, kann er die Seite ja einmal übersetzen und ich hänge ihn dann für alle Interessierten auf meiner HP ins Netz.

(PS: Rijk hat nichts dagegen) ;)
 
Das klingt ja interessant - aber ich will die beiden gar nicht trennen!

Stattdessen würde ich gerne Opera dazu überreden, mich auf den folgenden beiden Seiten weiter zu führen, ich bekomme da jeweils nur eine leere Seite angezeigt (also in der Titelleiste steht der Seitentitel, aber die Seite selbst bleibt leer). Wer hat da Mist gebaut: ich oder die Webmaster?

Ich hab es mit meinen Standardeinstellungen versucht (Nur angeforderte PopUps, JS an, Referrer aus, als Opera identifizieren), dann hab ich auch mal PopUps erlaubt und mich als IE ausgegeben. Bestimmt hab ich auch den Referrer mal erlaubt, aber da bin ich grad nicht ganz sicher. Cookies sind auf Alle annehmen (normale Cookies) und Nur für den Server gesetzte (Drittanbieter).
 
Danke, Tequilla! Ist ja schon komisch, jetzt hat's auch bei mir geklappt, dabei war ich bez. der PopUps wirklich sicher, es schon probiert zu haben. Hm.
 
Ikea ist ein Graus, was den Seitencode angeht. Ohne Referrer, Popups, Javascript und Plugins geht da garnichts, ansonsten ist da alles sehr IE "optimiert" und mag auch mit allem an nicht richtig funktionieren.

Chip hingegen hat eine witzige Sache im Body Tag drin:

Wow, man kommt ja kaum nach *keuch*.

Ich glaub', ich brauch irgendwann doch noch DSL, sonst kommt die nächste Opera Beta raus, bevor ich die eine geladen habe ;)
 
Die kurze Zeit bis zum erscheinen der RC bzw Final hättest Du als armer gestresster Modem/ISDN User doch auch noch warten können, so lange dauert's nicht mehr (schau dieses WE bzw Montag mal intensiver auf die Opera HP)... ;) :D
 
Wer benutzt gmx? Ich habe schon mehrfach (und mit verschiedenen Versionen von Opera) versucht, dort Filterregeln einzurichten oder zu ändern, bekomme aber immer folgende Meldung:
ACHTUNG: Sie verwenden leider einen nicht unterstützten Browser mit einer nicht kompatiblen Javascript-Version. Ohne Javascript können Sie Filterregeln nur ein- oder ausschalten, das Anlegen oder Bearbeiten ist nicht möglich. Wir empfehlen Internet Explorer ab Version 5.5, Netscape ab Version 6.1 oder Mozilla ab Version 1.1.

- Unregistered users have the choice between two types of ads:

1. Normal generic ads, like before
2. Text-ads from Google that are relevant to the currently visited page
