Kennt jemand das Problem das die Startseite kommt, danach versucht man sich nach der Installation bei Webmin einzuloggen und das widerrum sagt dir Benutzer oder Kennwort falsch ?????
Ist auf Gentoo installiert letzte Version. Webmin ist die Version 1.2.90

Nur zur Sicherheit: Du hast einen Webmin-Benutzer angelegt und versuchst nicht mit einem System-Account auf Webmin zuzugreifen? Das sind nämlich zwei Paar Stiefel, Webmin hat eine eigene Benutzerverwaltung.
Ähm nein, das musste ich bisher nicht. da ich mich mit Gentoo auch nicht so auskenne, (neuer Arbeitsplatz und der alte Admin hat keine Dokumentation hinterlassen) bin eher mit Suse vertraut, sthe ich nun etwas auf dem Schlauch. Ich wurde bei der Installation auch nicht gefragt.
Ohne diese Daten wirst Du aber keinen Zugriff auf Webmin bekommen.
Ist aber halb so wild, installiere es einfach neu.
Schieß den Webmin-Server über die Konsole ab und schau nach, wo Webmin installiert ist - das Verzeichnis einfach löschen oder umbenennen, /etc/webmin ebenfalls.
