So based on other posts in this discussion thread, why keep out Mac players? Are the people writing code for UTPure alienating Mac users intentionally, or is it because they don't know why Macs are having problems or how to fix it? Maybe the authors should enlist some help. Could somebody in the programming community offer them some suggestions or help? Thanks.

First off, I have yet to find a post on these forums that show we are trying to keep out Mac users. Yes, I know they seem to have more issues than others, but in no way at all is anyone trying to make it so UTPure does not work with Macs. With that out of the way, what version is the server running you have having problems with. Yes, for 5w and 5x, in some cases, Macs cannot connect to some servers. But the problem was figured out and corrected in versions 5z and 51. What I have learned from talking to several Mac users is that they seem to have to install UTPure manually for it to work. Some have also told me they have to do this for maps and mods also. As DarkByte stated once before, their may be an issue with the cache code for Macs.
So, please try the following if you havn't already. If the server you are getting kicked from is running 5w or 5x, then remove all utpure files for version w and version x from your cache. And also remove all utpurefiles except UTPureRC5w.u and UTPureRC5x.u from your System dir. Then download the files from this post and see if that fixes it.
If the server is running 51, then just download UTPureRC51 and install all files manually into your System dir and make sure you remove all 51 files from your cache.
Let me know if that works for you.
