Patch-Notes:

Additions

- NPCs have been added to the world. They will only appear in freshly unlocked islands or new universes.

- Many new buildings and deco props have been added together with the NPCs.

- Added story snippets or gameplay tips to the islands via chatty “story”-NPCs.

- There is now a trading system. Some NPCs serve as vendors with specific items in their stock that the player can buy with gold.

- The player can sell unused items to the vendor NPCs to free up space in the backpack and to earn the gold required to buy the items offered by the various vendors.

- Many NPCs offer quests which lead through the game and bring nice rewards.

- The game now has pets that accompany the player on his or her journey. They are sold by a pet vendor or found with a bit of luck in cages deep down in dungeons.

- Pets are equipped in the armor menu similar to armor or vanity items.

- The Archer class now has a dedicated crafting station similar to the anvil and altar for Warriors and Mages.

- A new crafting station “Drafting Table” now offers the recipes for furniture, props and the like.

- New events with new environmental effects and added trophies.

- Attacking and mining can now be done while moving.

- A new tool has been implemented: the portal compass. It constantly shows north when selected in the actionbar and shows the general direction, both horizontal and vertical, of any still locked portal on the island when triggered. The recipe is automatically unlocked at level 2 of the Workbench.

Changes

- Seedlings have been refurbished so that it is easier to distinguish them from each other visually.

- The item icons and 3D pictures of the character in the UI have been visually tweaked.

- Crafting stations show their tier now better with the metal they are partially made off.

- Loading an island with an active event now shows the remaining time at the beginning.

Fixes

- Several causes for crash bugs during game booting and island loading have been fixed.

- Network code has been tweaked to cause less traffic. The improvements are ongoing, of course.

- Save data is more secure now in case there is an unexpected PC shutdown or game crash.

- It is no longer possible to join players who are not in friendslist over the Steam client.

- It is no longer possible to join a game where the host is not on the friendlist over the ingame list of matches.

- Enemies are no longer floating down walls or steep hills.

- Several small improvements to enemy behaviour.

- The Fruit Hat vanity item can now be crafted correctly.

- The overall performance has been improved. This should be noticeable in large islands with many dungeons.

Ich habe im Moment mal wieder eine Shooter Phase und ballere mich durch die Zone in Stalker: Call of Chernobyl (geiler Stand-Alone Mod von Call of Pripyat).
Aber wenn die 0.7.0 rauskommt habe ich meiner Frau versprochen, ihr ein ordentliches Haus zu bauen.
Ich hoffe, zum 15.12. bekommen wir auch endlich VDSL 50 von der EWE, vielleicht kann man dann mal vernünftig bei mir mitzocken!

Da bin ich just 15 Minuten aus dem Haus und was les ich da? Update!

Hätte allerdings auch nicht gedacht das es so schnell kommt!

Update 0.7.0 ist also ab sofort live! Und es bringt eine Menge Änderungen mit!

Die Wichtigste - Stacks kann man ab sofort splitten! Yeah!!!!

Und natürlich - Wasser!!!!

In response to community feedback, our development team have been working flat out to bring you guys lots of new content and features.

Update v 0.7.0 also sees the introduction of split stacks, the Ward of Protection, RPG enhancements, emotes, new events and much, much more!

UPDATE V 0.7.0 PATCH NOTES

Additions
- Water has been introduced to Portal Knights. When creating new universes and islands, many islands will have lakes. Old universes and islands will have some water thanks to certain events.
- Water will contain new enemies and chests with specific loot.
- New items will help the player underwater against drowning like air as loot, oxygen potions and oxygen buffs.
- Expressive animations can be played from the new emote menu.
- Each boss has now a hard mode counterpart that can be accessed via an instant-travel item. These items drop when defeating the regular version of each of the bosses.
- The hard mode bosses have stronger attacks and minions and should be encountered with a full party of 4 well-equipped Portal Knights.
- To help overcome this challenge, new items will be available: rings, specific potions and new weapons.
- The hard mode bosses have unique loot which is unavailable anywhere else in the game.
- Stacks of items can now be split in half using the right-click context menu.
- Shift-click allows auto-transferring items from the action bar to the backpack or chests and vice versa.
- Controller rumble has been added.
- The main attributes have been reworked. There are now 6 main attributes which are increased automatically for all classes on each level up with a bonus for your 2 class-specific attributes. In addition to this, the player can now freely raise any of the available 6 attributes with 3 points per level-up. All Attribute-Points have to be redistributed.
- If the distribution didn’t go as planned, there is also a potion available for crafting to reset the attributes points.
- The ‘Ward of Protection’ has been introduced. This item can shield a certain area of the island against enemy spawning. Already existing enemies are not killed upon placement. Also, event enemies will still spawn so that event quests can always be solved.
- Enemies now follow the player more aggressively. They are slightly faster and can jump better over obstacles.
- New events are available with new trophies, loot chests and challenging enemies.
- New block types are available.
- A new option allows changing of the field of view.
- A new option allows various settings of shadow quality. This may help fine-tuning the performance of the game for older systems.
- A new setting allows the player to force the camera into third person camera mode during combat when playing in first person camera mode.
- New pets are available.
- Enemies now drop coins.

Changes
- Loot is no longer filled into the highlighted actionbar slot. This prevents accidental placement of freshly picked up blocks.
- The worldmap has been improved for a smoother handling.
- The emotes are triggered over the emote wheel. The key or controller button for the emote wheel may require the reset of the key-bindings to show up correctly. The reset button can be found in the key-bindings menu in the options.
- The first grassland island after the homeland island (ID: 1-03) has a new graphical variant in new universes.

Fixes
- Several causes for crash bugs during game booting and island loading have been fixed.

- Recipe lists and vendor lists can now be folded and un-folded with controllers.
- Several minor fixes and tweaks to UI navigation with controllers.
- Several fixes to recipe distribution at the various crafting stations.
- Dungeons have been tweaked and improved on the various biomes.
- The game should be displayed correctly again on systems with graphic cards with low memory.

Angespielt mit Big Mac!

Die Wasserblöcke (oder kurz - das Wasser) finde ich ja mal richtig genial! Zwar ist die Physik des Wassers mitunter recht seltsam, aber egal. Es macht Spaß! Die neuen Unterwasser-Mobs sind cool. Was noch stört sind eher kleinere Details, wie zB das Fackeln unter Wasser brennen etc. - aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Das Spiel ist schließlich immer noch Alpha!

Das ganze Spiel scheint einen Grafik-Overhaul bekommen zu haben. Etliche Texturen sind neu und auch einige der Items haben neue Texturen. Die Beleuchtung scheint auch neu zu sein!

Es hat viel Spaß gemacht herum zu testen und ich denke, einen Neuanfang zu wagen wäre echt cool. Diesmal vielleicht zu viert???

Leider reicht heute meine Zeit nicht mehr um weiter zu machen.
 
Hotfix 0.7.1

Es gab heute einen kleinen Hotfix auf das letzte Update, der folgende Fehler behoben hat:

We're pleased to announce that Update v 0.7.1, a hotfix which should solve a number of issues, is available to download NOW!

Changes
- Moved the recipe for the “Ward of Protection” to the workbench I.
- There is now air above the landing pad. Additionally, the player character now always respawns with 40% oxygen. Before it was 0%.
- Lantern lights had been changed too drastically for the 0.7.0 update. They now look more like previous versions of the game again.

Fixes
- Fixed that the player character would move incorrectly on the landing pad if the pad was flooded.
- The “Regular Healing Potion” works correctly again.
- Fixed a crash bug that could happen during boss fights.
- Fixed that pressing [x] opened an invalid menu with the default key settings.
- Fixed that water is hidden correctly by distance fog.
- Shadow options are now correctly translated for Chinese and Japanese.

Hardmode-Boss-Zugang des letzten Bosses gefunden! "König des Lichts"

Das ist mal ein harter Brocken. Der One-Hittet mich trotz Dauerheilung! Keine Chance den Solo zu legen! Aber sieht einfach geil aus!

[Edit] Ok, das vom Wurm (Elektrowurm) hab ich jetzt auch - gleiches Spiel. Onehittet mich und keine Chance auf Solo!

Die Zugangsrelikte kosten zudem jedesmal 4 Energiekristalle und der Boss ist dann für max. 5 Stunden erreichbar. (Zählt als Event)

[Edit 2] Netter Nebeneffekt des Boss schlachtens - Es gibt neue Pets! ^^ (Siehe Bild, in der Truhe rechts)

Hotfix 0.7.2 ist heute erschienen!

We're pleased to announce that Update v 0.7.2 is available to download NOW! This hotfix tackles a number of issues some players have been experiencing, as well as introducing a handful of changes.

Changes
- Slightly tweaked the light. It should be more like the lighting in version 0.6.2 again.
- The throbbing “Ward of Protection”-sound has been replaced by a more subtle, atmospheric sound.
- The FOV slider allows for a wider range now. Personal settings might have to be re-adjusted.

Fixes
- Fixed the range for the “Ward of Protection”. It was covering the whole island. Now it only covers the area shown as a blue-lined cube when placing the item.
- Added a maximum queue amount to certain recipes as a fix for the loss of ingredient materials.
- Selling stacks of items to the vendor NPC no longer can cause that the amount of sold items for the next item in the list is incorrectly displayed.
- Fixed that the Hollow King boss in normal and hard mode would sometimes be stuck in the ground.

Ich vermute daher also mal ganz aus dem Bauch heraus, das nicht mehr viel "Content" kommen wird.


 
Hallo zusammen.

Heute bei Facebook in den Kommentaren zu dieser Ankündigung gelesen, das "großes" kommen wird.
U.a. soll es auch demnach möglich sein: Split-Screen zu spielen (Wohl eher für die Konsolen) und auch das im Multiplayer zeitgleich in unterschiedliche Welten gereist werden kann.
Zu Crossplay oder dem hosten von Multiplayerspielen habe ich nicht finden können.

UPDATE - Hi everyone! We're aware of an issue with an armor set. Our team are looking into it and we hope to get a hotfix out very soon!

Update v 0.8.0, introduces a bunch of improvements, features and bug fixes, including the ALL-NEW timed Spring Festival event and a HUGE rework of the talent tree!

Our latest update also sees the introduction of level and/or class requirements, added support for Thai and Czech and much more!

Portal Knights Update – v 0.8.0

Additions
- The Spring Event is available now with lots of new items, enemies and quests.
- A new enemy invasion event has been added.
- The whole talent tree for all three classes has been reworked. Lots of new talents have been added. Talents have visual and sound effects now. All players need to choose their talents anew due to this change.
- Warriors can craft throwing axes now.
- The Arcane Mirror has been added to the game. It allows fast travel between the home island and the last island the player was on.
- Most weapons and armour sets now have level and/or class requirements. Players who don’t fulfill these requirements will not be able to use these items effectively.
- Text-chat has a history now.
- Added support for Thai and Czech.

Changes
- Damage types have been reworked. Enemies and equipment will now clearly display their damage type (if they have one). Some damage types have been renamed.
- The order in which Electro Quartz and Flame Ruby appear in the world and in crafting stations has been switched.
- The names of many items and places have been updated. Also, some items have a more detailed description now.
- The quest texts in the HUD have been reworked to reduce visual clutter.
- Area-based quests are only displayed when the player is in the corresponding area now. When there are several quests open, the nearest area determines which quest is displayed.
- Bomb recipes have been moved to the Archery crafting station. Enemies now always drop bombs rather than recipes.
- Throwing weapons are consumed now when being used.
- Backpack space has been increased to 40 slots now. Chests also have more slots now.
- A new redistributable has been added to the installation process. This has been applied in the last couple of days already.
- Loot stays in the islands longer before de-spawning.

Fixes
- A crash when fighting the bosses has been fixed.
- Plants grow correctly now when the player is in the game but on a different island.
- Several crashes that occurred randomly were fixed.
- Several areas of the game have been tweaked to improve the general performance.
- The tutorial texts refer to the controller buttons correctly now.
- Pets no longer move erratically when the player is idling.
- Monkey priests don’t show the curse when outside of the Tomb of C’Thiris event island anymore.
- Achievements have been fixed.
- The loot log doesn't show incorrect items anymore.
- Continuously scrolling when opening a menu with a controller should no longer occur.

Known Issues
- Joining friends through the Steam client doesn’t work. Please use the ingame joining menu.
- Joining a host who is quitting the game at the same time can cause an endless black screen for the joining player. Please re-start the game if this has happened.
- It is currently possible to join a friend who is playing with a host player who is not your own friend. The network code has been reworked as preparations for Split-Screen and “Players on different islands”. So new issues may occur due to this.
- Players leaving and joining are currently not mentioned by name in the alert popup.
- Changing the display mode from windowed to fullscreen can take two trials before it works correctly.
