Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mich mal wieder entschlossen Linux als zweites OS zu benutzen.

Es läuft auch alles wunderbar, wäre da nicht ein nervige Kleinigkeit.

Die Auflösung/Darstellung des Desktop wird nicht richtig umgesetzt.
Im rechten Bildbereich wird immer etwas vom Desktop abgeschnitten, bzw. aus dem sichtbaren Bereich des TFT herausgeschoben.

Kann mir da Jemand einen Tip geben?

ein ähnliches Problem konnte ich mit korrekten Modelines für meinen Monitor beheben. Google bzw der passende Modelinegenerator waren dabei eine grosse Hilfe.

Autodetect hilft nicht.
In den Modelines habe ich auch schon die Werte korrigiert, aber der Erfolg bleibt bisher aus.
 
Ja, auch den hab ich neu gestartet nachdem ich in den Modelines editiert hatte :)
 
Eventuell in der xorg.conf die richtigen Werte für Vertikal- und Horizontalfrequenz angeben. (Aufgepasst: Falsche Werte können den Monitor zerstören!)

Genau dieses habe ich ja schon gemacht.
Hatte die Werte vom Datenblatt des TFT genommen.
Denoch hat sich bisher nichts geändert.

Was bedeutet denn Option "DPMS" ?

Genau, der Treiber - ansonsten wurde alles erwähnt.

Genau dieses habe ich ja schon gemacht.

Das bezweifle ich keineswegs; aber kann es sein, dass noch die Angabe fehlt, dass dieser Modus auch wirklich angewandt wird?
Hier wird das sehr schön erklärt - ganz unten unter "Verwendung".
 
ZuluDC, ich habe Deinen Tip befolgt, doch es ändert sich nichts.

Naja es hat sich schon was getan, aber nicht das, was ich mir erhofft hatte.
Ich habe in der xorg.conf kräftig gewütet und dann startete die GUI nicht mehr :ROFLMAO:
Zuvor hatte ich nur leichte Veränderungen vorgenommen(Frequenzen berichtigt), aber ich kam der Lösung nicht näher.

Dann hab ich die xorg.conf über die LiveCD wieder zurechtgebogen und die GUI startet wieder :)

Treiber:
Ich dachte Sidux bringt einen Treiber für die Grakas mit.
Der TFT wird beim Start richtig erkannt.
Im Netz habe ich keinen speziellen Linux-Treiber für meinen TFT gefunden.

Die Werte für die Eingabe habe ich der Xorg.0.log entnommen.
Diese Modeline werde ich nochmal testen.
Bisher habe ich es nur zu Fuß gemacht.
 
Scheint ein Notebook zu sein, alleine schon wegen der 5 verschiedenen "InputDevice" bezüglich der möglichen Mausarten. Nun, eine direkte Lösung hab ich nicht...

Einerseits würde ich sicher mal diejenigen Modelines rauswerfen, die es nicht braucht (und das sind mehr als 3/4) - alleine der Übersichtlichkeit halber und um das Problem immer mehr einzugrenzen. Anderseits könnte man auch ganz einfach die bestehende xorg.conf per Live-CD umbenennen und durch Diejenige von der Live-CD selber ersetzen, wenn da alles funzt - oder die von der Live-CD noch ein bisschen 'frisieren' und dann einsetzen.
 
Es ist kein Notebook.
Ich bin nun aber auch ein Linuxnoob um schon alles verstehen zu können.
Das mit den "InputDevice" muß ich mir mal anschauen.

Wenn von der LiveCD gestartet wird, habe ich das selbe Darstellungsproblem.

Auf der Seite von Deinem Link sind 2 Modeline -Genaeratoren aufgeführt.
Mit beiden habe ich eine Modeline erstellt und in die xorg.conf eingetragen.
Mit der Modeline aus dem 1. Generator sieht das Ergebnis schon etwas besser aus.
Da ist das Bild nicht mehr ganz so weit nach rechts, dafür aber auch etwas nach oben versetzt.
Insgesammt ist das Ergebnis aber schon besser.

Wenn ich wieder zu Hause bin, schaue ich nochmal.

Ergo ist meine Wenigkeit ein bisschen im Web rumgezurzelt und hat gelesen. 2 Links hab ich gefunden, die einigermassen interessant sind und vielleicht von Bedeutung sein könnten.
Versuch doch mal in der xorg.conf diesen Eintrag zu modifizieren; anstatt...

Bei der Aktion wurden die 1280x1024 nicht automatisch erkannt...

Mit einer Auflösung von 1024x768 ist die Darstellung korrekt.

Momentan sieht es bei einer Auflösung von 1280x1024 so aus:
 
Kannst Du vielleicht mal dies als Inhalt für die xorg.conf verwenden (alte xorg.conf vielleicht einfach umbenennen damit man sie zur Sicherheit noch hat)?

Die Idee war nicht so gut.
Danach startete der XServer wieder nicht.
Mit der LiveCD habe ich das BackUp zum Wiederherstellen benutzt.
 
Sorry - hätte ich Dein vorheriges Post aufmerksamer gelesen hätt' ich merken müssen, dass meine xorg.conf nicht funktionieren würde, denn ich hab da ja...

drin und nur noch 1280*1024 Auflösung - kann also nicht funzen.
Ehrlich gesagt würde ich nun nochmal meine xorg.conf verwenden aber mit

Driver "ati"

drin.

Wenn das auch nicht geht ist die Modeline faul oder die anderen 3D Einstellungen.
Pühhh....nun, es gäbe noch die Möglichkeit der Rekonfiguration der xorg.conf mittels

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Der Composite-Eintrag dürfte dann aber eher rausfallen...?
 
Oben
