Das ist der Vorteil kleiner Softwareschmieden (...und diesen Gedanken unterstütze ich), einmal gekauft und Lebenslange Updateberechtiigung! Ich habe um 1998 eine zweier CloneCD Version erworben, da funzt heute noch der Original Key! Dann ist 'man auch bereit zu zahlen.

seit gestern gibt es ihn auch auf der offiziellen Homepage des Autors, klasse Tool jedem zu empfehlen. Ich kenn kaum ein Prog das so viele andere ersetzt.

aha - daher kam das also. Ich bin schon schier verzweifelt, weil meine txt-Files nur noch mit Notepad aufgehen

Hier ein paar News aus dem Betatest zu Version 5.5, von Christian G. (Supi, du bist doch dort auch Mitglied...? ):

- Wincmd unterstützt descript.ion und files.bbs, sowie teilweise die NTFS-Kommentare und Word-Kommentare (beide nur in abschaltbaren Tipfenstern).

- Die Zeilenlänge muss ich noch von 256 auf 511 erhöhen, ich hatte da noch eine falsche Länge im Hinterkopf. Ist 511 die Länge mit oder ohne Dateinamen? Mit oder ohne <CR><LF> am Ende?

- Andere Formate sind zur Zeit nicht geplant. Wie schon gesagt wurde, ist Kompatibilität das wichtigste Kriterium. Wincmd ist (noch?) nicht so weit verbreitet, als dass ich eigene Standards setzen könnte
